In the first quarter of 2012, other provisions increased compared with the end of 2011. This increase primarily pertains to short-term provisions for variable compensation. The utilization of sales provisions recognized in 2011 was lower than the recognition of new provisions in the first quarter of 2012, which led to an additional increase in other short-term provisions.
