Fair compensation is an important topic at BASF. This includes aspects of internal (distributive) fairness and socially acceptable minimum wage.
This is why our compensation is aligned with three principles: function, market and performance orientation. It is also of great importance to us that minimum wages are adhered to and, where possible, surpassed. As part of its global monitoring, BASF regularly reviews compliance with minimum standards. However, BASF does not consider the compensation indicators required by G4-54 & G4-55 significant in order to assess compensation structures in terms of fairness.
