6 – Income from companies accounted for using the equity method

In both the second quarter and first half of 2016, BASF-YPC Company Ltd., Nanjing, China, was mainly responsible for the higher level of income from companies accounted for using the equity method. In addition, contributions to income from companies accounted for using the equity method came primarily from the Oil & Gas segment, especially the companies Nord Stream AG, Zug, Switzerland; OAO Severneftegazprom, Krasnoselkup, Russia; and GASCADE Gastransport GmbH, Kassel, Germany.
