BASF on the Capital Market In 2019, the stock markets were again characterized by long periods of uncertainty as a result of the trade conflicts, especially between the United States and China. Geopolitical tensions also contributed to a volatile stock market environment. We stand by our ambitious dividend policy and will propose a dividend of €3.30 per share at the Annual Shareholders’ Meeting – an increase of 10 euro cents compared with the previous year. Based on the year-end share price for 2019, BASF shares offer a high dividend yield of around 4.9%.
