Capital Expenditures Capex of around €3.8 billion planned for 2019 We are planning total capital expenditures (additions to property, plant and equipment excluding acquisitions, IT investments, restoration obligations and right-of-use assets arising from leases) of around €3.8 billion for the BASF Group in 2019. For the period from 2019 to 2023, we have planned capital expenditures totaling €21.3 billion. The investment volume in the coming years thus exceeds that of the planning period 2018 to 2022.
